i attended the Bon Odori festival yesterday which was on saturday..for those who dont know what Bon Odori is,heres a short explanation..Obon (お盆) or just Bon (盆) is a Japanese Buddhist custom to honor the departed spirits of one's ancestors. This Buddhist custom has evolved into a family reunion holiday during which people return to ancestral family places and visit and clean their ancestors' graves, and when the spirits of ancestors are supposed to revisit the household altars. Also called the Feast of Lanterns, it has been celebrated in Japan for more than 500 years and traditionally includes a dance, known as Bon-Odori.
ok so this is my first time attending it so this is a new experience for me..was really excited to see how this japanese festival was celebrated..so went together with my anime club gang which they arranged a bus for us to go to Shah Alam stadium for the festival..so here are some pics of what we did

this is the only pic i have of the stage when the festival began cuz i was too busy dancing with them to take any pictures..
i wanted to upload some videos that i took of the festival but it was way to big for me to upload..anyway we stayed there until 10 at night..dancing the whole nite and eating sushi all the way haha..i definitely had fun..get to know more of the japanese culture and their people..so thats about it i guess..sorry if i cant give u guys more pics of the stage but like i said..too busy dancing with them hehe..
